About Marc Martin

An accomplished professional and educator, Marc Martin received the TOPPS Scholarship and the College of Education Endowed Scholarship while attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he earned a bachelor's degree. Marc Martin then pursued a research-intensive master's degree in from University of Houston, earning a 3.8 GPA and the prestigious Moores Fellowship Award.

Recently, Marc Martin earned his paralegal certification at Rice University, where his coursework focused on topics such as tort law, contract law, and legal writing, as well as federal civil procedures. He graduated on March 6, 2019. To stay current on relevant paralegal issues, he maintains membership in organizations, such as the Houston Metropolitan Paralegal Association. Since 2019, Mr. Martin has served as a paralegal with Pipkin Ferguson PLLC, proofing legal documents, e-filing and e-serving legal documents, performing regular file maintenance, and researching construction law, all under the supervision of 7 attorneys. When he is not working, he stays active through Crossfit and rock climbing. His other interests include viewing artwork, reading about psychology and creativity, and cooking.
